There are so many of God's people (right in our own backyard) who need a helping hand - why not offer yours? There are plenty of opportunities for both individuals and small groups, find out which one God is calling you towards! Feel free to contact the organizations directly or contact Chelsey Doering. for assistance. Be sure to send us stories, pictures or videos of you and your small group in action!

Extreme Faith

This group offers a chance to form relationships with those living on the streets of St. Louis by providing food, clothing, friendship, and the hope of Jesus.  Contact Kevin Mennel for more information about getting involved. Summer 2011 Opportunities: June 1, 15, 29, and July 13, 27

Taking Jesus To The Streets 

Along with Faith’s partnership with Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Taking Jesus To The Streets is an outreach that bridges music, art, food, and the hope of Jesus to inner St. Louis city. Join us as we play games, do crafts, sing songs, hang out with people, and share the love of Jesus in North St. Louis city, while being led by our friends at Bethlehem Lutheran. Sign up at the info desk today! Meet at Faith at 4 p.m. on Sunday and 4:45 p.m. on Monday, or just go directly to Bethlehem.

Spanish Classes 

Whether participating in a future trip to Peru, or seeking to learn a new language, Spanish classes are available for anyone in the community, taught by a professor from the University of Missouri - St. Louis.

Glen/Ed Food Pantry

This organization helps serve the hungry, homeless, and displaced by providing weekly groceries as well as a functioning thrift-store for qualified residents of Madison County. You can help sort food, lead a collection drive, work behind the scenes and work the thrift store.

St. Louis BicycleWORKS 

This organization helps “at-risk” youths in the St. Louis area by providing them the incentive and opportunity to develop their academic, vocational, and social skills through our Earn-A-Bike Program.  You can work with the kids, work in the shop, or help behind the scenes.

ByteWORKS 

This is an organization dedicated to advancing computer literacy to primarily at-risk, low-income children between the ages of 9 and 15 years old.  Whether you are a computer genius or don’t even own a computer, there is a volunteer opportunity for you.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) 

CASA advocates for abused and neglected children in need of safe, permanent homes through highly trained volunteers appointed by the Family Court.  You can support them through donations, volunteering as an advocate, or helping raise awareness for child abuse & neglect in your area.

Humanitri 

This is an organization seeking to move families and individuals from crisis and uncertainty to stability and self-sufficiency.  Volunteer opportunities include helping in the office, sorting clothes, and painting and cleaning housing units.

Kingdom House 

This organization is committed to providing excellent, spiritual-based social services to meet community needs.  You can help by volunteering to tutor, coach, serve in the thrift stores and food pantries, and much more.

Mosaic Pregnancy Help Center 

An organization committed to providing accurate and complete information about prenatal development and assisting women in carrying their babies to term by providing emotional support and practical aid through the provision of God’s people and the community at large. You can help by volunteering as a prayer partner, Board of Directors member, part-time nurse, mentor, office work, counselor, and/or financial partner.
