Port Maria, Jamaica

Adult participants (age 18+) will have the opportunity to lead children’s ministry (VBS), work on green life farms, learn about micro-business development, and serve those in need in Jamaica. The team will also continue to foster community unity and leadership partnership with American Caribbean Experience. Passport is needed.

Peru

This team will have the opportunity to serve at a summer VBS program, help with children and teen programming, and continue to foster community unity and leadership partnership with Compassion International and LCMS World Mission. Individuals who have sponsored Compassion children living in Peru may have the opportunity to meet their sponsored child(ren). Passport is needed.

 

Next Trip: August 10-17, 2012. 

Cost: $25 + airfare (partial scholarships available), Application & $100 deposit due March 21, 2012

Interest Meetings on Wednesday, February 15 from 5:30 - 6 p.m. in the Chapel & Sunday, February 19 from noon - 12:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Team will begin meeting in April.

Considering Applying for a Team?

 

1. Read first: What is a Mission Trip?

 

2. Questions? Contact the team leader for more information.

 

3. Complete a team application and other necessary forms (if needed) and return to Faith with deposit by the stated deadline.

 

4. Once we have received your application, the team leader will contact you. They will provide you with meeting dates & times as well as any other details you can begin taking care of (passport, immunizations, etc.) in preparation for your trip.
